This spring kit from Rocket Motorsports have been tested in a variety of applications, you will have no problems with valve float at high rpm with this HD spring set. We use these exclusively in the shop on all cylinder head builds we do. The SLX Spring is best used for a weekend racer, or something along the lines of a dedicated race car, the 97 PSI seat pressure can be hard on internal components during low rpm activity (idling). These springs have been used on SFWD cars that have made well into the 900 hp range. The SL kit is more suitable for street use and can handle cam profiles up to our M24XX camshafts
